Board of Review

The Board of Review (BOR) provides an independent forum for the fair and impartial consideration of appeals and administrative decisions within Pueblo County. The Department of Planning and Development supports the BOR through coordination of hearings, preparation of case materials, and administration of meeting logistics. The Board serves an important role in ensuring transparency, due process, and consistent application of County regulations, while providing an opportunity for applicants and the public to be heard. Information on meeting schedules, agendas, decisions, and related documents is provided below.

The Board of Review is composed of appointed members representing a range of professional backgrounds and community perspectives to ensure balanced and informed decision-making. Members are selected based on their experience, knowledge, and ability to fairly evaluate matters brought before the Board. The Board operates in accordance with adopted bylaws and applicable state and local regulations, with members serving staggered terms to provide continuity. Alternate members may also be appointed to serve in the absence of regular members, ensuring the Board can consistently fulfill its duties.
